This charming market bakery and deli counter prepared the best hot Reuben sandwich I have ever had in Portland (or maybe anywhere for that matter)! I will be coming back here for certain. Highly recommend.

I'm not sure how I missed this cafe until today...I seek out small cafes and sandwich shops on my lunch break to get out of the home office. I thought I had exhausted all spots until I found Plenty. This was arguably one of the best Reuben sandwiches I have ever shoved in my face. The rye bread was fresh and soft l, the meat very thinly sliced and cheese perfectly melted. The service was very friendly and the store inside had all kinds of unique items that you just can't find in many stores. (Halawa, Halva!) Next time I'm betting on the fresh baked goods. Oh, I will be back, you can bet your sweet buns.

Been there 5 time and its Always Great Food. Very Friendly Employees and Owners. More than willing to help And even though there is a bit of a language barrier it's a really great experience and a great environment and aatmosphere. They will definitely continue to get my business.

The best Reuben sandwich I have ever had. Staff was very friendly and the customer service was phenomenal! Their desserts are to die for. Definitely will be returning regularly!

I've been here a few times already and though there are other items on the menu, I always go for their piroshkis. Their cabbage is my favorite. It's just awesome comfort food. Love how they have a little seating area so you can enjoy their food on the spot. There's a microwave, but you may need to ask for a plate. And maybe a fork if you need one. Nice spot. Convenient location. I enjoy it.

Now LA Food and Plenty Deli. Whether we eat in with great coffee, tremendous sandwiches or terrific desserts, or take home stuffed cabbage, salads, fish, cheeses or breads...this place is very special. Clean, friendly, and one of the hidden food gems of Portland. Every friend we have taken there has become a customer. We'd like to give it 10 stars if we could.

A very charming deli that really does offer plenty of options for both hot food and grocery. Everything seems to be family-run. A fun spot to drop by for coffee and treats as well as to stock up on East European food. We tried their Pastrami Sandwich and Salmon Baguette for lunch. Both of which were very fresh and delicious. You can tell how much care they put into crafting the sandwiches. We also split a slice of cake, they have a very tempting dessert case, that was just the perfect sweet cap to our lunch.

We went back to buy our favorites. They have different cakes, but it was a long drive, so we bought one similar, the Christmas Cake. We found out, they sell fast. Could be, but to me, it was like eating days' old cake. It contains meringue, it's not a sponge cake. It taste just as good, melts in your mouth. I'm still happy with their smelt. The ones we've been eating had eggs, which I love! If we weren't so loaded with other foods bought from another store (for the following days), we would have loaded up more here. Next time!

If I'm nearby and hungry, I'll always drop in here. Great pastries, several savory options too. Decent prices and a unique and varied grocery selection too!
